Circuit

Sharing Agreement at Cambourne signed

Taking part in the District Project "So Loving the World" - by encouraging churches to become Fairtrade. We now have 8 Fairtrade churches in the Circuit.

Filled our Circuit Youth Worker appointment, as of September 2008

Stationing - maintain present ministerial staff levels

Filled the vacancy for the Southern section, and created a part time post. The vacancy at Northstowe is unresolved.

Churches

Find ways that churches can find a way of owning Worship - letter sent to churches

Worship Leaders training course completed

Made a decision about the Future of Foxton chapel

The Feasibility Study was carried out on Meadowlands and Christ the Redeemer, but found not to be workable. Meadowlands was duly sold.

Wesley Community Outreach Worker appointment is on track to be filled in 2009

 

2009 - 2010

Review local church provision/approach relating to young people

Papworth - resolve the freehold issue of the Church and assist the church in making the premises more attractive and user friendly.

Continue to Take part in the District Project "So Loving the World" - by

Encouraging more churches to become Fairtrade

Encouraging churches to take steps to reduce their carbon footprint.

Risk Assessment and Fire safety and health check in our Circuit Churches

Reserves Policy in all Churches

Continue to support the Cottenham Community Centre project

Stationing - Redesign the profile and fill the Pioneer Ministry appointment for Northstowe and Cottenham

Cambourne - complete first stage of building

Sawston - clarify the status of this LEP

Christ the Redeemer - arrive at a new understanding of the nature of the LEP
